Market breakdown

The Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) market is evolving rapidly. Tens of billions of dollars of redevelopment projects are underway, serving as the driving force behind $1 trillion in GDP for the Los Angeles metro area.

Having become a premier destination in Southern California, DTLA is actively sought out by many for residential use, new dynamic workspace, or those visiting from other states and overseas. Recent zoning and entitlement changes have spurred further investment in housing and public transportation. This, and other ancillary services, will not only meet but exceed the needs of more than 500,000 daytime employees and 80,000 individuals who currently call downtown home.

Over a dozen megaprojects are underway and countless more slated for the next decade.  Factors like these are what place Los Angeles well ahead of pace for hosting World Cup games and the Olympics in 2026 and 2028, respectively.  The opportunities are boundless for those seeking to become a part of this market.
